That's right in order for my bride to be... to be happy I have clear out all my stockpile
I was going to do WJ steering on my HP dana 30 but I decided to go high steer HP Dana44.
So for sale is my WJ dana 30 complete w/steering and lower control arms and trackbar and brakes.
So everything from that bolts to a 2001 WJ Grand Cherokee Dana 30 except the upper control arms.
This axle has the awesome high steer setup you want for your Cherokee with killer 2 piston brakes
Make offer on complete axle! Pictures up soon :D
The cool curved lower control arms so you can run a larger tire without sacrificing your turn radius. I'll sell them seperately for $70 or best offer.
GoJeep has a fantastic write-up here if you want to check it out http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoWJcontrolarms.htm
I have a dozen or so links on how to convert the steering over to work on a Cherokee Dana 30. I'll post up for you soon.

Did this axle come out of a limited? does it have jeeps limited slip or quadra drive? How much for the complete axle? All I really need is a shaft.

it's not the same a ZJ axle. I'm pretty sure it's not limited slip. However I haven't even cracked the diff cover open.
if you just need a WJ axleshaft I may be able to hook you up with just that from a housing I sold without shafts. What do you need. long side, shorts side.

So let me get this straight. The axle is out of a WJ? The steering is for that axle. Will this set up bolt into a 91 xj? Will I need to run larger wheels? What is the bolt patern? Where are you located? Alot of ?? but it sounds very interesting.

sorry I didn't reply right away.
Yes out of a WJ.
No the whole axle won't bolt up to a XJ
You may need to run 16" wheels unless you run 3.5" of backspacing or less on a 15" rim.
Bolt pattern is 5x5.5", but can be changed to 5x4.5" with a JKS spacer and the stock cherokee/TJ/ZJ/MJ unit bearings.
It's pretty common to swap everything from the knuckles out to get much bigger brakes (2 piston Akebonos) And a high steer type steering setup (very similar to teraflex's high steer knuckle) with a much beefier tie rod and drag-link than stock
