For the harder trails or the convention in general?

At the convention there will be trails for every level. From a dirt road to that you see on these videos.

As for the harder trails just come prepared. Here is a guideline for preparedness.

Low Range Off Road: 8,000lb Smittybuilt winch, Tom Woods: Two gift certificates for $100.00 and $150.00, redrock4x4.com: LJ rock sliders and rear corners. Many other prizes to come. Just a heads up...if you are looking for cheap gas down here. If you are heading out to the fair grounds from I15 you will come to a light just before you head down the hill to the grounds, there is a Chevron(dont get it there). Turn north and follow that back road for a while(about 1 mile) there is a gas pump there at the DATS trucking place. 15cents cheaper than anywhere in town.

Just letting you know.

We ran Milt's Mile and were the definite minority...about 15 Jeeps on the Trail, one Tracker and another Yota.

I trashed a rim on the very first obstacle, ten minutes later we were up and running.

Thanks to all that put this on, we had a great time!!

Of course not... Steve has moved to "trailer queen" status.

Eric pulled his rig down ;)

The trail we did was awesome, a bit slow due to the number of people we had on the trail, but thats completely to be expected. I had a great time, wish I had a couple more days to play around down there.

It was good. It is back down there for a bunch more stuff. So that will be the one and only trip with that setup. I ran the same trail I ran this past spring so I could tell exactly what was different. The tires are the biggest thing. No more bouncing and they hook like crazy. Even on the ice and snow they would go. No more creeks and groans from the front suspension. It was good. It will be even better n a month or so. :)

If it had the big Trail Ready bumpers, that was the Jeep, only it was yellow back then. It was back in 2000 or 2001, and that's was state of the art at the time. I was competing in my XJ at the time and loved to kick their butts.

Then they built that crazy buggy, and Scott Gadsden started driving for TR.. The owner for TR isn't the best spotter from what i noticed when i was following Scott around last comp they had here..

TR had a two seater buggy for about 3 years between the CJ and the rear engine buggy. They did pretty well with it. Hahaha, I'm guessing that was Larry, although I didn't remember him coming to too many events. Most of the time Scott worked with a guy they knew from Washington State, just can't remember his name at the moment.

Thanks, we were going to flat tow another behind the trailer but no reciever. That first one catches alot wind. on the way down 8.8 mph averaging 75 mph. Not real expensive when splitting four ways. Alot of people slowing down when getting next to us. Not sure if courious or scared!!!!

Probably scared.......the wind might have caught and you would have had a Samurai kite ;)
