Missing Posts / Threads?

For an unknown reason we are currently missing 2 days worth of posts and information. I am currently scouring software logs as the hardware logs have turned up no answers and we don't have a more current backup.

We apologize that this has happened and are actively looking into the solution.

If you posted in a giveaway thread and your post is missing, please post again.

It looks like most of it is still available on Planet. I think we can recover attachments, if needed.

This sucks big time, not much we can do at this point. I think the chance of recovering the information from the past 2 days is going to be slim to none. We'll just have to try pickup what we lost and move on, sorry for the trouble everyone! :-\ And everyone quit sending me PM's about this! Your photos should still be on imageshack, you may just need to link them back over.

I couldn't figure out what was going on. I thought my computer had the site cached or something, but when the work cpu did the same thing I thought "THEY" were watching me. :spork:

The previous host changed their CPU usage policy and started shutting down background services and connections when a server quota was hit. This caused the databases to drop data and become out of sync resulting in missing posts and threads and many database errors.

I will apologize for the PM I sent last night when the incident occured... I was a little messed up in the head due to a rather large amount of pain killers mixed with a large dose of valium because of a nasty MRI I had a few hrs earlier. I am extremely claustrophobic in those machines and I have to get doped up beyond belief to get all the way in one like I did yesterday!!! It SUCKED!!! So I apologize Greg... it really was the drugs talking!:sick: Thank you for jumpin on the issue and starting a new thread like you did! It is appreciated!
